Ah darn.

It seems I forgot to pay one of my bills last month. Somehow the bill for my student loan interest payments got overlooked, probably between Christmas stuff and doubles shifts at work. All I know is that the bill was due on the 31st and it's now the 11th. I'll have to get the payment out in tomorrow's mail and perhaps if I call them I can get the late fee waived, since it was an honest mistake. Though it was completely my fault. I'm almost as bad with my snail mail as I am with e-mails. Right now I have a stack of both to go through and I can't remember when I stopped being so careful with my snail mail.

On the upside, I finally have a set of decent sounding speakers in my car. Ty gave me the ones from his old car that he never got around to using and though they were originally for the door, they fit fine in the back. When the old speakers were pulled out, they were so deteriorated with age that bits of the paper fell to the ground. In the process of finishing up with the speakers, my antenna (the new one) got mangled. Since it was installed wrong, it always got in the way of the trunk when it was opened. Ty didn't realize it was there and slammed the trunk, only to hear a crumpling sound. Since the antenna was mostly intact (half of it won't retract now) I didn't care. If I really wanted to listen to the radio, I wouldn't have bothered getting a CD/MP3 player installed.

I also got the gold chain I broke on Saturday night fixed. I originally broke it by pulling on it too hard when I was taking off my hoodie one night. The chain got caught up with my shirt, and by the time I realized it, the chain was already broken. I ran out down to a jewelry repair shop on Monday and finally got around to picking up this afternoon. Since the repair bill was small, they only took cash. So I was forced to dig through my wallet and had just enough to pay the bill. So much for saving the cash I had on hand until next week.

Less than a week until school starts again. That makes me sad.
