Nearly on break...
What a busy week it has been for me. A lot happened between my last entry and now, but I just haven't been in much of a mood to write. A quick recap:
-I did finish my double assignment on time.
-I didn't do any work regarding Microeconomics or Politics.
-I didn't feel up to a revision of my review.
-Had problems over the weekend with Lamonica, despite the fact that I took her places she wanted to go without complaint.
-Went out and finally did some needed shopping for winter clothing.
-Had to skip an early Thanksgiving with my cousin, since we were busy on Sunday.
-Did manage to play an hour or two of Xenosaga 2 Saturday through Monday.
That was pretty much my weekend. I don't have to go to school until Tuesday, and tonight is the last night of work until I go in on Sunday morning. It is peak season after all. I fear that I may be coming down with something of a mild cold. I fight fairly terrible yesterday and my throat itched and burned. I took some medicine before going to bed after 1am. I then spent most of today sleeping, after waking up not feeling well. Today's unwell feeling came not from the cold, but from the usual monthly problems that come from being female. As for my cold, it is more or less a mild cough now. I probably got it in the sudden change of weather, going from hot to cold, then to very, very cold. In fact, we may even get a small amount of snow tonight or tomorrow. As for my break, I'll try to spend it relaxing but I'm not sure how that will turn out.
I'm determined to do a little bit of homework each day (since I was given so much of it), and my mom is determined that I also do a few hours of chores each day. Why she can't wait until I'm out of school, I don't know. It just annoys me when my school work conflicts with work she wants done around here. Only two more years of college to go (as a part-time student), only two more years...
I just know that when I get back from break, work will busier than ever (thanks to peak season) and I'll be struggling with study days for upcoming finals. Then I'll get a month off from school and I plan to work double shifts up until Christmas. The extra money will not only help for the holidays, but will help pay off my debt from the summer time.
As for tomorrow, I'll be going to my Grandmother's house (I think) for Thanksgiving. So if I don't see anyone around, I hope you all have a wonderful day.
