I an not one prone to giving advice....that said, I’d like to pass this on to you...Let it go. Don't think to hard. I read somewhere along time ago that God speaks to us through our feelings. Go with your guts, your feelings. I went to Covington, La on Srpt.7th 2005 to help for three weeks. I did not leave until August 1, 2006. I found myself 'going with the flow' and it lead me to unbelievable places and experiences! Everything seemed to unfold before me and we got so much good work done. And I am not a church going person, not sure that I believe there is a God. But I do know that there is something bigger than any of us. So I followed the path before me without question and it was amazing---it has changed my life. You are on the right track. It did feel to me as a 'calling'. It was hard at times, being away from Family for so long. Working with Folks whose lives had been so drastically changed. So many obstacles in the way of getting good work done. But we plugged away one day at a time, one Family at a time and solutions to the many problems came to as if a gift from the universe or God.. I don't know, but we did succeed in helping so many and it was a wonderful experience. You are in my prayers, keep following your Heart. In Peace and Caring, Niki

Thank you. I do believe that God has called you. I wasn't sure if I believed in God until Fall '05. But He is more real than I could ever have imagined. Going to a Christian college (that is not Catholic!) I learned so much that I can no longer deny the Bible. It took alot of researching myself too. Besides... the love that people can feel for complete strangers can only come from God i just volunteered at Binghamton, NY for flood releif this weekend, and it was great.
