I rarely, rarely comment, but I just have to now...
Where to start? I've never read a piece that focuses on Draco's feelings as he is hurried away from Hogwarts by the Half-Blood Prince.
The way you have portrayed how Draco feels about not only leaving a sanctuary he has known for very long, but from his new salvation, is just stunning.
I like how half of this piece is the time period of a minute or so, as they are racing across the lawsn, but you stretch it out in such a way that it seems like days are hopelessly whipping by, and there is nothing either boy can do to pause it.
To me, Draco's thought processes are so flowing, so real, that I absolutely believe it, and it breaks my heart. In my mind, I can see the numb fear, the desperate desire to just confess, and break away from Snape to follow his heart, all conflicting in his eyes, showing in the contortions of his expressions.
I love this piece. Normally I do not like sad works, but this moved me to actually comment.
May we be livejournal friends?
Would you consider writing from Harry's and Snape's perspective, respectively?

Wow. That is a big compliment for such a little fic :) Of course we can be friends! I love new friends :) Actually, just this morning I was considering writng a sequel. The way I thought it would go would be it would be kind of like an alternate seventh book, with Harry's ultimate goal to destroy Voldemort and get Draco back... I might just go start on that if I have some time today :) I'm so glad you liked this and very glad you commented!
