Wow. That is a big compliment for such a little fic :) Of course we can be friends! I love new friends :) Actually, just this morning I was considering writng a sequel. The way I thought it would go would be it would be kind of like an alternate seventh book, with Harry's ultimate goal to destroy Voldemort and get Draco back... I might just go start on that if I have some time today :) I'm so glad you liked this and very glad you commented!

hey there, I know it's been a long time since this fic was written, but I finally finished writing the sequel, so that means I can post it! :) It's on my lj, somewhere near the top if you'd like to read it. THe title is "Of Butterflies in a Hurricane" :)

I followed your link from harry_draco and I am so glad that I did. This is a wonderful piece. You've presented such an interesting take on a chapter of HBP that I have read so many times. I've always wondered what Draco would be thinking in those moments. (It's an added bonus that he is thinking about Harry!) This fits perfectly into canon.

I think you've done a very good job of keeping Draco in character. I love this line: But I didn't. I am not equipped to handle something like this. I don't know how. You've managed to give him depth and heart without losing his Malfoy-ness. Nicely done!

I'm glad you did too! lol. Don't you just wish it was really like this in HBP? I was re-reading it the other day and I noticed that Draco is hardly mentioned in that chapter :( sad sad. he's my fave character :)

I have never seen anyone write this POV of that scene - it was fantastic! I cant wait to go read the sequel now!
