and Edgar is named
After settleing down into the single ward, baby though tired, was anxious to see our little boy. She was missing him..
So I walk quickly down to the Our Lady Ward's nursery to fetch our little boy... it was quite a distance actually...but the walk was blissful...and exciting!!!!
taken the moment we named him... our little Edgar....
Hey!!! he has been cleaned and was waiting for me to bring him to mum!!! His hair was "like being comb straight" (unlike when he first came out..his hair was so curly). His eyes were closed. As i was slowly pushing him back to our ward..i could see him peeping at me with his sleepy eyes...open and close....there was so much joy in me...the joy of being a father...the pride of being his dad..and I can't wait to see baby's expression when I push our little boy in the ward for her
As the door opened, i shouted.."here come our little boy boy!!!" Baby was so beamingand so happy...she looked as if she has recovered from all the pains!!!
So...finally we were in a room with just the 3 of us. The new feeling ..of a family...family of 3. And at that very special and quiet moment, both of us gave him the name "Edgar Tan" Edgar mean protector of the Good. He will lived up to it.
the indox went full... thanks to all the congratulation messages.. news certainly spread fast... :)
I remmembered calling my mum..." ma ah... kong xi ni... ni dan po po le" and she congrats me back. :P
and my cousin took over the phone and asked me if i have any "numbers" for him...4D lah
my mother -in -law was even better...she was kinda of know my baby has given birth...before i could say anything...
she said: " ....has given birth liao is it??" hahhaa...no thank to me cos I seldom call her..so when i did that noon...she knew it a good news. smart!!!

By afternoon, the first visitors have arrived... they are none other than the newly promoted grandparents and "kuku".
Their joys were so obvious as after months of anticipating.....they are formally "promoted" wahhahaha
I think my sister did a wonderful job in making a "star" with "Edgar" on it.
