I didn't get the job. I got an e-mail Friday, giving me the old "qualifications better match what we were looking for" line. Oh well, I wasn't looking forward to a 45+ minute drive with gas at $3.75 a gallon. Although free tuition would be nice. I could have finally gotten that doctorate in medieval Persian literature I've been thinking about. I look at it this way, though: with the library job I interviewed for last summer, I got one interview. This job, I got two, so the next one I should get!
Yesterday had mom over for dinner of BBQ chicken. Luckily the rain held off long enough to grill outside, though I'll grill in any weather. Saturday we had a car wash in Lakewood for the BOy Scouts and made about $150. Afterwards, I went to the Omega Hair Design place to take a look at where we're having this film festival this Saturday. The place is tiny, so I dunno how I've gonna do it, but I'll make it work. Speaking of work, I have to work Saturday as well, so hopefully it'll be quiet enough that I can wedge the film fest into my schedule We'll see.
