06 Magic
Sorry for not writing in a few days- I've been preoccupied moving into my new living space. That's right, I finally got a job as an Adventurer. It's about time too, because I really hadn't been doing a good job at the Bakery. Now if only I can figure out what I have to do in my new job, I'll be all set.
My lesson with Lezard didn't go as badly as I thought it would. He gave me a staff, which was a much better present than I thought he was going to give me. The staff is supposed to help me channel my magic power, and it seems to work, or at least intensify whatever it is I can already do. However, something about it just doesn't seem... right. I'll practice and use it anyways, since Lezard gave it to me and I have no other option.
Those runes did seem familiar though. Just the word and the idea though... not the actual process. It kind of means something to me, but not directly... Well, that's the best I can explain the feeling. There are a lot of things that seem familiar to me that I don't understand still. It's driving me nuts, actually...
Just one more thing... those weird messages that appeared in the journals... I don't have a clue what that means, and it doesn't seem like anyone else does too. But I feel like whoever they are may help me figure out everything and who I am, how to get back to where ever I came from... should I trust them? I don't know, but I'll be careful from here on out...
