On the prowl
It's always weird when you realize your car has been in an accident. Especially when you weren't there for the accident! My car was parked, so it was literally just sitting there, not doing anything, waiting for me to come back from buying crickets and glitter. And look what someone did to it! Poor thing.
It's all superficial damage though. The door opens and closes just fine.
I managed to get Sonny's feeding tank all not messed up, and it works very well, so I don't need a flipping ten gallon tank. But there is still the question of where to put Mazarin when it's time to move fish around for new tetra prep. Petsmart was out of the two gallon tank I'd been thinking about, but I looked up prices for the other supplies I'd need for this tank:
Heater: $14.39-$22.99
Bubble decorator: $9.99-$14.99
Airline tubing: $1.99-$2.99
Air pump: $11.99-$14.99
Mossball: $7.99
Tied plant: $9.99-$11.99
Assuming that the tank I want is $12, I'm looking at spending, at minimum, $50.77 post-tax. That is a lot more than I want to spend, and it's a lot more than the stupid starter kits. Hmm. On Monday I'll check out Centreville Aquarium. At the very least the airline tubing is more reasonably priced there.
