Casey may think less of me for writing this, but I think the idea is silly.
[We begin with the moment Amelie realizes that she wants to be a full-time do-gooder]
Voice of God: It all began innocently enough. Amelie realized that she had the power to make other people happy.
Narrator: Amelie has a strange feeling of absolute harmony. It's a perfect moment. A soft light, a scent in the air, the quiet murmur of the city. A surge of love, an urge to help mankind overcomes her.
[Amelie is leading the blind man to the metro]
Amelie: Now we're at the kiosk by the metro. I'll leave you here. Bye!
[But...]
[Amelie is crying in bed. There's at least one shot of this in the movie]
Voice of God: But that wasn't enough. Could she use her powers...to make herself happy?
[Amelie at the grocer's. She takes her bag. Cut to a different shot. The grocer frowns. Amelie smiles that michievious smile]
[A basic few shots of the courtship of Amelie and Nino -- the first look at the subway station, when he runs away, the looks at the Two Windmills]
Raphael Dufayel [on VCR]: Go get him, for Pete's sake!
[Amelie thrusts open the door, revealing Nino about to ring. They stare, next shot is of them in bed, Nina sleeping with his head on her chest]
Voice of God: But what happens when she uses her powers...for evil?
[The mugging scene in Fifth Element, where Matthieu Kassovitz attempts to mug Bruce Willis' Korben Dallas]
Matthieu Kassovitz: Give me the cash!
Korben Dallas: Been here long?
Matthieu Kassovitz: Yeah, long enough. Come on, give me the cash!
Korben Dallas: Is that a Z-140? Alleviated titanium. Neurocharged assault model.
Matthieu Kassovitz: Yeah, yeah.
Korben Dallas: Good thing for me it's not loaded.
Matthieu Kassovitz: [giggles] What do you mean it's not loaded?
Korben Dallas: You have to... push that yellow button to load it.
Matthieu Kassovitz: [pauses, then laughs hesitantly]
Korben Dallas: Take your time.
Matthieu Kassovitz: [continues to shake while reaching for the yellow button of the rifle]
Korben Dallas: You want me to - there you go.
Matthieu Kassovitz: Give me the cash!
[Pulls trigger, but nothing happens]
Korben Dallas: [points gun at mugger] That's a very dangerous gun. Maybe you better let me hang on to this one for you, huh?
[grabs rifle and places it in rack of other guns]
Korben Dallas: You don't mind, do you?
Matthieu Kassovitz: No!
Korben Dallas: You sure?
Matthieu Kassovitz: No. Take it. I don't need it!
Korben Dallas: [giggles while pointing gun at mugger] That's a very nice hat.
Matthieu Kassovitz: You like it? God!
[dances in front of Korben]
[Phloston Hotel blows up as Korben Dallas and Company speed away]
Voice of God: This Friday...
[Zorg's office]
Shadow: It's Shadow...
Zorg: Zorg here.
Shadow: Am I disturbing you?
Zorg: Oh no... no, no... I was... just... W-Where are you?
Shadow: Not far now.
Zorg: Good... good, good...
[randomly]
Korben Dallas: Oh, so you speak English now.
'Amelie': Yes. I learned.
[More explosions, random shots of Amelie's childhood, people shooting each other, the question mark on Amelie's stomach, The Captain counting, DRAMATIC MUSIC]
Amélie Poulain: She doesn't relate to other people. She was always a lonely child.
Shadow: I will be among you... soon.
AMELIE IS EVIL!
