It is coming up on the one year anniversary of my grandpa's death now. April 4th will be Easter--the last time I saw my grandfather was Easter of last year. It keeps playing over and over in my mind, that last Easter. I did right that time, I think, but I also can't help but think that I should have done more. April 14 will be the 1 year

We had to get rid of the dog. I have never had an indoor dog before. I hope to never have one again. He chewed anything he could get in his mouth. We couldn't leave him out when we went out, so we put him in a wire cage. He broke it. So, we thought that one of those plastic crates might work better. We had it two days when the little guy

I missed my first day of work today. It couldn't be avoided. I have a terrible ear infection. For the first time in years, I am sick at the same time I have insurance and a job with paid sick days. It's been one heck of a journey since the initial interview in Lafayette for the youth librarian position. The original interview went great, but after several weeks of waiting, I ultimately received a polite letter explaining that they picked someone with more experience.
