It's a strange place
Those poor Friday morning water exercise people have never experienced the likes of Jan's class before now. Hahahahahaha.
This aside, Igor and I are lucky that Jan and Larissa happened to pop in early today for their weekly workout (which does NOT happen on a consistent day) because the regular instructor's mom is sick and she can't come in. But she never works her shallow water ladies (and man) the way they're being worked right now. :D
OMG FIFTH KYU TEST, GUYS. I did it. ::glee:: Way back on Monday evening. Julian tested with me, Vagrant and Michael tested together for fourth kyu, Michael took ukemi for Mitch on third kyu, and THEN Brehan tested for first kyu, which was REALLY COOL. Uhm. Yeah. And his parents were sitting next to my mom, his mom snapping photos all the while.
ALSO. I had a major breakthrough in my breakfalls yesterday. ARM STAYS CLOSE TO SIDE. Hahaha. This is solving a lot of my problems. I worked with Brehan and Shaun after class and somebody mentioned I should be doing that so I tried it and it was just like magic.
Then Brehan acted like a turtle for me and I practiced some more.
Shut up, it's early. And because I woke up late today (and rolled out of bed instantly, threw on a bra and left in my pajama pants), I've only been awake for an hour and a quarter or so.
I get to work until five. D:
