I've only been up for a little over an hour, and my 21st birthday is already roughly a thousand times more joyful than my 20th was. Except for the parts where my friends were amazing, and it snowed, and I still have the lovely picture of us outside Uwajimaya in the snow as my desktop background.
The year I was 20 was probably simultaneously one of the craziest, most tumultuous and best years of my life.
And seriously -- who could have guessed, two years ago, that I'd be where I am right now? I certainly wouldn't have. But this is way better than anything I predicted for myself all through high school.
Life is bumpy and complicated. Sometimes it's kinda awesome, too.
