You know how vampires are obsessive-compulsive? Like when Mulder throws sunflower seeds at the kid from The Sandlot and the kid has to stop and pick them up? I think I'm that way about memes. When they show up on my flist, I can't not do them. So if I'm self-absorbed, it's all because of you guys, right? Right.

1. I'm having a birthday party tomorrow, and I'm so not prepared.
2. There are 348 songs on my iTunes, and I'm currently listening to Coldplay sing "Daylight," even though it's not one of my favorites.
3. My favorite movies are When Harry Met Sally and The Sound of Music.
4. I like all of the Anne of Green Gables books, but my favorite is Anne of the Island.
5. Only one person from real life--a coworker--knows about my LJ, and I've never let her read it, just in case I ever want to write about work.
6. For my birthday, my best friend gave me a "faux poes foes" t-shirt. I was stoked.
7. I believe that the Bible is still a relevant, useful, "living" document; my favorite book is Romans.
8. I think that adults don't sit on the floor enough.
9. My middle name is Christine, which is my mother's first name.
10. I worry that my publishing job will someday become too corporate, and that I won't be able to find a company I want to work for. In that case, I'll quit and become a children's/reference librarian.

13. Since I was a little kid, I've known that I want to adopt a child someday.
