Rules to disregard, obviously:

A) People who have been tagged must write their answers on their blogs & replace any question that they dislike with a new question formulated by themselves.

B) Tag 8 people to do this quiz & those who are tagged cannot refuse. These people must state who they were tagged by & cannot tag the person whom they were tagged by. Continue this game by sending it to other people.

01. Which celebrity would you like to meet and why?
Lee Pace, but only if he spots me in a coffee shop(/library/bookshop/on the subway/pretty much anywhere, really) and one of us starts up a conversation, and then we exchange numbers, and then we start going out, and then we live happily ever after. Tina Fey, but only if we can be friends and writing partners and possibly next-door neighbors. Jennifer Garner, America Ferrara, and Amanda Bynes, but only if we can have sleepovers and braid each other's hair and talk about boys. I have anonymousfanophobia.

02. What do you do before bedtime?
The New York Times Sunday Crossword. If I lie down in my bed just right (on stomach, right leg bent, pillow under my armpits), I will fall asleep immediately. If I don't lie down just right, hey, I might get a few words.

03. What will your dream wedding be like?
Um. There's a guy there, I guess. I think I wear a white dress (poofy or slinky?). My (other) loved ones are there. We say some vows, exchange some rings, probably take communion together but do not light a unity candle (ugh). We kiss with church tongue. Then we eat.

04. What is the city of your dreams and why?
The city of my dreams is diverse, safe, scenic, and has plenty of my friends and an excellent public transit system. The buildings are old, and even the new buildings look old, and everybody can afford to live there under decent conditions. Everybody has a yard--even the apartment-dwellers--and there are lots of libraries and a Powell's offshoot and plenty of yarn stores and coffee shops and pubs, and every neighborhood has farmer's markets three days a week. And you don't have to pay for parking. And there's a rowing club, and they practice in the evenings.

05. Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Social introvert: I love people and I have lots of friends, but...they wear me out, and then I want to go home and knit and read and write and be by myself.

06. Who was your celebrity crush last year?
Lee Pace, probably? I'm a slow mover.

07. Do you trust easily?
Yes, unless I think you're going to mug me.

08. If the person you secretly like is already attached, what would you do?
Torture myself?

09. Is there anything that has made you unhappy these days?
You mean, like, the failure of my life to move at all in the last two years? In that case, yes.

10. Do you have a good body-image?
I'm going to go with...yes. More or less. I'm pretty sure I could stand to lose a few pounds, but overall my body is strong and healthy, and I have nice boobs and nice legs and I like my hair. So. There's that.

11. What's worse: one huge spider (the size of a Buick) or hundreds of minuscule spiders?
Are any of these spiders trying to eat me? If so, the little ones are harder to get away from. But if not, I could probably wait a flood of tiny spiders out. It would be tickly and creepy, but not as bad as, like, Shelob.

12. What websites do you visit daily?
LJ, obv.; NYTimes.com; my RIR blogroll (I'm so not listing them all here).

13. Who are currently the most important people to you?
My family, followed by my friends? That's such a lame answer.

14. What kind of person do you think the person who tagged you is?
...

15. What’s the last song that got stuck in your head?
Rilo Kiley, "Glendora"

16. What’s your favorite thing in your room?
My bed, because it is the biggest, softest, fluffiest, most amazing bed of all time. True story. (I also have this little green table that was my mom's as a kid, and I love that, too. But it doesn't hug me every day like the bed does, so.)

17. What's better: to give or to receive?
What an annoying, loaded question. Who's going to say "to receive," and look all selfish? I will say this: I enjoy both giving and receiving excellent gifts. Giving and receiving lame gifts? Less so.

18. What are you doing this weekend?
Nothing, and it is going to be awesome. Maybe do some sewing? Try to see The Dark Knight? Watch Doctor Who and the Sunday Mad Men marathon. Go to church. The end.

19. What is the taste on your lips?
...lips.

20. What were your parents going to name you if you'd been born the opposite gender?
Andrew. I totally approve.

The End.

And music, because it is funny and because ONEWEEKSQUEE!:
