wow...

oh boy... haven't updated in a while...

Okay, the trip was a blast! We had so much fun!! I'm not going to get into details just because that'd take way, way, way too long.

I got home okay, and then continued to wake myself up in the morning at 8:30 until a couple days ago, when I graduated to 9:00. I finally got back into work, complete with only 25 hours, but it's money I didn't have when I got back. That was amusing, and rather difficult. Living on 25 dollars for 2 weeks, then on another 20 for the next week. AND we had groceries, which I couldn't pay for. So needless to say, I was broke. I worked one day and got a paycheck for it on the first payday I was back, so that was good. My department seems to have undergone some spring cleaning, meaning the crappy people left, and we hired some more crappy people to take their place. Doesn't seem right? Didn't think so.

I love my new apartment! It's actually a home and not just a place to crash. Granted I love Matt and Lacey, but that was too much. 4 people in one apartment just doesn't need to happen when there's only 2 bedrooms. We have the master bedroom, and then the second, that has our bookcases and computers, and soon to be a study desk. (side note: if you know of a place that sells cheap filing cabinets, let me know!) We got a couch for free from Joe's old boss, and a couple dining room chairs from my parents house, and that was pretty much it. We've had all the rest of the stuff, so that wasn't a bad move in. Pots and pans were another story. I didn't feel like eating macaroni and cheese and teflon all the time, so I sprung for the $80 set, which was the reason that I was at $25 for two weeks.

Not much else going on. I'm hoping to get some set schedule at work. 11:15 - 8:15 in the garden Monday through Friday, if I can get it. Kim likes me, so it's possible, but I'm going to call her tomorrow to see the possibilities. If it's not, I might be able to pull off one day off during the week and then one during the weekend, but considering Joe's schedule is changing a little bit, it'd be nice to spend at least a little time with him. Once we get back into school, that might be different.

Maggie's wedding is coming up! Yay!! July 29, she will officially be Mrs. Davis. I'm so proud of her. She's done so well for herself considering all she's gone through. Sean is an angel and such a good son. Brandon is turning into a great father and soon to be husband for her. I'm so happy for her! I'm one of the maids of honor in her wedding, so I've been working round the clock to make sure everything is going to go smoothly for her for those last couple days, because I know she'll be close to loosing it.

Last thing: I know I haven't called some of you, and I feel really bad, but once I got into working and finally getting things set for the apartment, I felt so overwhelmed because I haven't been at this pace for 4 months. I will call you! I promise!

Ciao. Over and out.
