What do I still have to do?
1. study for last final tomorrow (history, blech!)
2. take said final (double blech!)
3. go to farewell event tomorrow night at Castel Sant'Angelo
4. Pack (well finish as much as I can)
5. Go to bed early
6. Get up early
7. GO TO THE AIRPORT TO PICK UP MOM AND JOE!
8. Casually travel around Italy for a while
9. Come home!
Okay, so yeah, I only have one final left, then I get to go traveling! Yeah, I won't have a computer during that time, well easy access to one, but that's okay. You all know my number and when I get back (I hope! I've been telling everyone since I figured out the date!), so give me a call during that week!
So my first exam was Opera. Ick, I thought, but that was the first exam in which I answered ALL of the listening material quickly, and without guessing (I knew it all!) And, I did the math... I can completely bomb the essay part, and still get more than 100%. He gave 18 points extra credit, and the essay is only 10 points. Go figure. Especially when the extra credit was on the last exam, and it was listening as well! Good grief! So I'm looking at an A for the final, which hasn't happened in a long time. Mythology... well... we'll just leave that one alone, shall we? Hopefully tomorrow will go off without a huge headache, but it's not the one that's transferring for a grade. That's only opera.
Packing, wow, yeah, I managed to pack 10 days worth of clothing into a tiny little carry-on suitcase. All of it minus a pair of jeans, which are currently occupied. It's awesome. And my other two suitcases are packed, and the only problem is that I can't fit a single one of my books in them. And unfortunately I have a lot of books. I was a little book worm here. That's why Mom is bringing another bag for me. After some fanagaling, I think I'll finally get everything home in one piece. Still contemplating how I'm supposed to travel with my artwork and two posters I bought. I get to keep everything at the ISA office so I don't have to pay any of the storage fees that the airport charges, and that tiny little fact that the airport luggage storage doesn't open until 7am, and we fly out for Amsterdam at 6:40am. Small problem, but easy to solve, considering we're getting back to Rome on Sunday morning instead of Sunday night...
Okay, babbling now... I can't wait to see everyone again! Congratulations Martin and Abbie! I'm so sorry I couldn't be there for you! I'll see you when I get home!
