I guess I'm feeling better.
Family has a way of doing that.
Highlights of Monopoly:
~Blake trying to trade with my mom for Oriental Ave. "Mom, what would it take to get Oriental?" Dad: "well you'd have to change your eye shape, get some surgury..."
~Mom pointing out it's my turn: "It's your Mary Jo Laterno."
~Mom landing consecutively on dad's railroads when he has all four. And screaming every time.
~I WON!!!!
Yesterday Blake and I were going to go to this Sam Shepard play, but it was sold out.
~"We could always go to the nickel arcade...."
~we went to the nickel arcade.
~Played Dance Dance Revolution: I schooled his ass!
~I played this awesome boxing game, where like the pads come out at you and you have to actually punch them with your hands. I rocked. Actually it hurt really bad and I lost. But for awhile I rocked.
~"Do you want a gumball?" "Lily, I don't want a gumball.... ok give me a gumball."
~I got bunches of tickets!!
~55 tickets = a toy handgun keychain. It actually works, and clicks and everything!
~4 tickets = a tootsie roll. (Blake calls them "toooootsie rolls." it's definately pronounced "tuht-sie")
~Drove home. "wanna slurpee?"
~Stopped for a slurpee and some Funyuns.
~My mango-peach slurpee was disguisting.
~the only thing more disguisting than that slurpee was the Funyuns. (Onion-flavored-rings??? What are they really???)
~Came home to decide what OnDemand movie to watch: "Scary Movie 3??" "Come on, Lily. No." "Free Willy 3?" "nooo." ....."White Chicks?" "ok."
~We ended up watching the Borne Supremicy. Good thing I hadn't seen the first one so I had no idea what the hell it was about.
~Had fun making fun of it: "Here. These files will explain who stole your money. I think I'll explain it to you, in case someone who doesn't know what's going on can tell why we're making this exchange."
~"Maybe the answers you were searching for were right under your nose the whole time!"
Anyway, it was pretty fun.
But I wish I wasn't just spending time with my family all the time.
Sal and Camille you are right, we did have good times. "Wait. What were we just talking about?" "twice baked potatoes."
