Wednesday's Haji Lane egyptian food dinner with the colleagues. Haha, had good pita bread with lumus dip, retarded conversations with James especially, i do miss him in OSC cause of all his lame ass nonsense, shisha-ing, Melissa and Val's cat experience (they're damn freaked out of cats, and Val, please don't kick any cat even if it scares you! Haha.)
James's retarded statements of that day.
1) Take the chair and shit. (Take the chair and sit.)
2) Mel asked what animals would we wanna be in our next lifetime, i said i wanted to be a cat and James went, 'I want to be a pussy'.
3) Fuck-o-fuck. Private joke.
4) Out of a sudden, he asked me, 'Have you kissed?' WHATTTT?!
The mood was a bit odd that night, i think everyone was too tired. Plus, all the photos are pretty dark, sorry, told you i just don't like flash. Haha.
You can vaguely see Wei Leong posing for the camera. Haha.
Sathya, Melissa, Me, James, Sylvia & Andrew. Lionel was taking the photo as he was apparently very camera shy and Val, Wei Leong, Richard & Jie Ming came later.
I was trying to get a good shot of his shirt, i love his shirts with the prints! Anyway, the shirt says, Music Saved My Life, it costs $4, bought in Bangkok and it looks definitely much better than Andrew's $95 white shirt. Whoops.
Sathya is like my favourite model for photos, be honoured boy. HAHAHA!
Farlefel. ( Is that the right spelling?)
Kebab.
Look at that uncle. HAHAHA!
SYLVIAAAAAA!
Bumming outside some shop.
Thursday was Foodies Outing at Little India with Hanwei, Val and Wei Leong! Totally awesome, the thosais and bryanis were so yummy, loved the curry, dreaded the hot weather but it was still so much fun! And this part of the entry is going to be like in story mode, photos inserted at certain segments, instead of all at one shot after the write up of the whole day's events. I don't even know why i'm doing it and annoucing it beforehand. I'm going nuts.
Huge thosais!
The amount of rice they give is astounding, and we thought the price of rice in Singapore was going up. Oh right, there is probably an abundance of rice in India. Haha.
Hanwei is eyeing his chicken bryani!
Close-ups on the scrumptious meal!
Thosais, Masala, Plain & Crispy!
Teh Tarik!
Chicken Bryani!
Walked to Bugis then to City Hall. We shopped around Marina Square and Suntec, it was a great day, joking around, gossiping, sweating in the heat, having the time of our lives.
Topshop's fedoras.
WOOHOOOO AND I GOT MY NEW CREATIVE HEADPHONES! AWESOME STUFFS!
Wei Leong got his creative vision too, and Hanwei made a huge retarded comment at Creative, damn funny. The salesman was talking about Creative as compared to Ipod, so the conversation went like this.
Hanwei: 'Sim Wong Hoo right?', trying to act all smart cause he knows the name of the founder.
The friendly salesman: 'Yea, the guy at the top.'
And unbelievably, Hanwei replied by exclaiming, 'What?! That guy is really here? At the top of this building?!'
The salesman then has a very confused look on his face.
Dude, it's a figure of speech. HAHAHA!
So after that, Hanwei and i brought them to Rastafari, our favourite shop at Marina. Then basically, we hung around, tried on funny stuffs & enjoyed Labour Day. It really fits the purpose, one day of enjoyment for all the hard work in RP, it applies perfectly for you Val!
Rastafari's headbands.
Ultimate gay stuffs.
Huge ass slippers.
Friday started off alright, dragged my brother and my mom down to Tampines to get my haircut (which looks funny, let's not talk about it and one more time the stupid hairstylist try and bug me to rebond my hair, i'll slap her. I like how it curls at the ends okay. Haha!) and to get my new Charles & Keith bag, heels and belt, awesome. Haha, then my mom and i headed down to City Hall to Pennisula Plaza to have my Spinelli interview, on the way, met an annoying bitch/ah lian/pain in the ass. She's like in lower secondary, with her boyf who was playing his PSP, and she was sitting next to me, blasting absolutely disgusting japanese and chinese songs from her phone. I cannot, i repeat, i cannot stand such fucked up people. Goodness, even these 3 decent looking girls across us, looked at me and gestured to that disgrace and gave a look of disgust, and of course i nodded in agreement. Haha, anyway, the pay for Spinelli is awful, i have to stay for at least 2 months and i have to get a jab. No thanks. Hahaha, so i'm still on a lookout for jobs. Maybe tuition? Then again, i might strangle the poor kid and i don't know if i have the commitment to tuition the kids till their end of year examinations. We shall see. So i rushed home in the evening and baked cookies. Now, i have to make a very important protest, why don't any one in my family support my baking at all?! Hahaha, all of them refuse to try any of the cookies that i baked. Well, i did burn the second batch a little but the first batch turned out pretty good! Ask Hanwei, Zi Qing, Siva and Ashraff! HAHAHA! SO anyway, Hanwei came over and we rushed to Siglap's Starbucks to meet Zi Qing. It was totally great to see her again and to catch up on our life and past love issues. Hanwei wasn't bored cause he met Siva and Ashraff there and they caught up as well, seeing them insult each other very bluntly and brutally (their way of showing affection for each other) was hilarious. They're pretty awesome and entertaining people too. Haha. Then i met Wenguang for supper at Xin Wang Hong Kong Cafe, and he got me wires in the shape of a drum set, sounds funny but it's super cute. Haha!
The Crasins Box that i use to put the cookies in, did the same thing for Wei Siew the other time. Haha, i have too many of these boxes.
Usual chocolate chip cookies.
My Venti Caramel Macchiato.
Zi Qing, suddenly very camera shy with her Java Chip Frappuccino.
Huge ass cookie, i made one huge one just for fun.
Strawberry pockeys from her! We used to walk to 7-11 after band practices singing, laughing, talking and gossiping all the way, and buy pockeys.
HAHAHA!
Main focus of the photo, is the two mugs, nothing else. Haha!
Cute drumset on Wenguang's dashboard!
Saturday started off like a very uncommon lazy afternoon at home. Bummed around, went with my dad to get our new surround sound system, then went to my grandma's place for dinner then back to SA cause the juniors were having band camp. But just to digress, this is gonna be like Thursday's entry. So when we were walking out of my grandma's place, my brother caught sight of damn cute kittens! i immediately squatted down, reached over to pat it but it didn't want to come out from before the flower pots so i whipped out my phone to take photos while my dad and brother stood there and stared at me. After i was done, i asked my dad, why are you waiting, cause i'm going to the bus stop now anyway. Then he was like, i just wanted to see how crazy my daughter is. Hahaha, thanks dad.
So anyway, going back to school was a nostalgic experience, sitting in the cultural centre, canteen, walking around the track, bathing in the gallery toilets, and of course, the band room. The new year ones are, how should i put this, they're just plain weird. Ohmy. And i caught a bit of their preparation for the musical, hilarious stuffs. The year twos are still so much fun and entertaining, i swear i miss them like mad, and how Ben Yeo and i call each other cows all the time. Hahaha. We hung around, played with the self-made swings, talked to juniors, got so bored in the bandroom, we started to draw, well Xiaowei was doing her portfolio, i was just bored.
It would look more familiar if it was crowded with students.
Xiaowei on the swing.
The gallery and track at night.
See how weird my new year ones are.
Countdown for their concert, we always did those too.
Voila! My retarded drawing.
Sunday, i was rudely awoken by the coldness of the band room, cause Xiaowei and i didn't bring sleeping bags, and cause the lights turned on at 7am. Haha, Xiaowei refused to let me sleep in cause everyone will stare, who gives a damn when you're tired. So oh well, got up, washed up, had waffles crisps, listened to them play, i really do miss band music i guess, haven't been listening to band songs in ages. So anyway, left, went home, bathed and went to meet Hanwei at city hall. We were on some dessert spree, i had my favourite MOF green tea ice cream, Hanwei had his fried mars bars, and we went marks & spencers to get dark choco for Dalini and us as well. So then we met Han and Dalini. Dalini got into the Art School in Chelsea, some reputable and good one that costs 200,000 pounds for the whole degree. Awesome news isn't it? We headed down to Harry's at Esplanade, had yummy chilli nachos and alcohol, and we joked, gossiped, laughed, entertained ourselves. This is just how we should spend our lives, satisfied with chilled out sessions with friends. Haha. So yea, who can ever forget Han and his very vulgar hip thrusting motions. It is fucking hilarious but very disturbing. It just reminds me how Han disturbs me about the extremely strong vibration from my phone, let's not go to that. Haha. So yea, got depressed and moody over waiting for university acceptance letter and my parents' negativity towards it all and i walked home from Hanwei's bus stop, all the way. Goodness, oh well. Anyway, i had one heck of a weekend. And i will be very thankful to any of you who actually read every single word and looked at every single photo. I took a whole freaking day at work to blog this, while handling 325875523098325 transactions for school fees ause today was the deadline.
Haha, right now, i just wish i'll get accepted into SMU or NUS or NTU, then get a new job, and feel much less burdened then i'll be ready. Thank you anyway, you're superb and amazing.
Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks
and now I'm trying to get back
Before the cool done run out
I'll be giving it my bestest
Nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon its again my turn to win some or learn some
I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours
Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and damn you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love
Listen to the music of the moment maybe sing with me
Ah, la peaceful melodys
It's your God-forsaken right to be loved love loved love love
So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait I'm sure
There's no need to complicate
Our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours
