End Of April Shopping!
Woooolalala, Sunday was one eventful day. Danny came over in the morning, i practically snoozed my phone alarm twice and woke up one hour later cause danny was damn late as usual, she never changed. We talked and lazed in my room for like 45 minutes, passed stuffs to her, then she suddenly tells me her dad has been waiting for her since he sent her here. What?! How could you miss that detail out?! Haha, cause we were basically taking our time to catch up and all, brilliant aren't we? So yup, i miss her still, miss lectures & tutorials sitting next to her & eating cereals or marks and spencers goodies, going for breaks together, everything about her i miss. Oh well, we'll catch up again soon, that 45 minutes was wayyy too short.
So then i made my way down to Bugis, met Xiaowei, walked under the blistering hot sun, and basically we walked all over Bugis, Sungei Road, Arab Street & Pennisula Shopping. Madness, i swear we were dripping sweat like crazy. I hate the way banglah and china workers around that area stare at us like we're freaks, but it was one hell of a workout. Haha, bought brown aviators that cover 1/3 of my face, Xiaowei thinks i look good in them, HAHAHA, a messenger bag, 8 pairs of earrings, a rose patterned top and a brown hoodie! Awesome stuffs! Woolalala, shopping definitely cheers me up, makes me feel that my sunburnt arms and very rosy face now are worth it. Haha. Met the pushy indian man at the carpet shop again, tried his annoying tactics to make us buy carpets, tsk tsk. Stop trying. Oh ya, that reminds me. The heat makes certain people bitchier, like Hanwei & I on Saturday. Hanwei & I were going on a bitch spree, criticizing everything around, yapping non-stop as well, so fun. Yesterday i think i was affected by the extreme heat again and i realised, i couldn't stop yapping. HAHAHA. We also went to the library to get books, i didn't manage to finish two of the three i borrowed the other time, so this time, i really gotta make time for my reading. So anyway, we had The Soup Spoon for lunch plus tea eggs her mom made, reminds me of school days outside the library where we would peel the eggs, stuff them into our faces then head back into the library to study.
She doesn't like to smile to the camera as you can tell. & peek under the tissue paper on her tray, those are the egg shells. Haha.
A long line of malaysian taxis just fascinate me and makes Xiaowei think i'm mad.

Random embarrassing moment, i never knew CHIJMES used to be a convent and all, basically, i just thought of CHIJMES as a stretch of good and expensive food and drinks, nothing much to the name, till last year then i found out. What a noob i swear, i'm ashamed of myself. Hahaha.

Met Jonathan/Princess at about 7, he was late and i was freezing my ass off at Mos Burger drinking my much-missed ice tea. It made me think of studying for our As at Parkway's Mos Burger with Sheryl. So yea, we bought some bread from some bakery and took 2 back to my place, he just send me home so we could talk anyway. I hope he's feeling better, oh well, i'm here for you man. Just quit smoking and i'll be nicer to you too. Hahaha.
Exciting week ahead! Tuesday my brother is coming back from NTU, Wednesday night maybe i'll meet up with Ziqing or go drinking with my colleagues, Thursday public holiday, made plans to go out, Friday i'm taking leave to go furniture shopping then head down to TP, Saturday i'm going to stay over at SAJC's band camp, i'm so so psyched for the weekends, for now, i just gotta get through 3 days of work. That reminds me, it is highly possible i'm finally quiting and going to work at Spinelli's! Family connection, and i've been looking out for the branches. The ones at the Airport & Raffles City Shopping Centre appeal to me the most. It mustn't be a whole day job cause that would defeat the whole purpose of changing my job cause i'm sick of the whole routine that makes my life seem really dull and pointless. We shall see how things go i guess. I would really like a change in my life right now.
