Arab Street & Very Pushy Indian Salemen.
Great saturday spent at Arab Street & Bugis. Woke up early to bake chocolate cookies for Wei Siew cause his birthday was on thursday. Turned out slightly burnt, but i think they all liked it, hopefully? Haha. So anyway, i cursed at the damn hot weather and met Hanwei at bedok mrt to head down to Arab Street. Arab Street is so much fun! We walked into random shops, tried on aviators & straw fedoras, looked at beautiful wooden furnitures and carpets. We had great conversations along the way too, and ended up at this egyptian restaurant for late lunch. Yummy food!

Kebabs! The chicken one was the best, beef was okay and the lamb was just bland.
The egyptian boss was damn nice too, he actually offered to take a photo of us and then he told us to check out the 2nd level of his restaurant cause it's cosier and to take photos.

Then we rushed off to meet Han cause he was very early, sat around at Bugis mrt chatting while waiting for Wei Siew. When he came, Hanwei hugged him and it was damn funny cause it was so gay. So yup, then we went to Hip Diner USA (What the hell is it really called?!) by Billy Bombers for the two other guys to have dinner. Don't mind the blur photos, and they're like that because firstly, i hate flash and secondly, Han was moving alot on purpose to ruin the photos cause he's apparently camera shy. Haha! Who cares?

Aww, isn't Wei Siew demure with his fork and knife instead of Han eating with his fingers?! But then again, as Han says, respect the burger and eat it with your hands. Haha, reminds me of the ribs the other time at timbre.

Then we headed down to Music Garage to watch Sarah's gig and along the way, met up with Kristian and Dalini. Dalini just bleached her hair to dark orange (It was supposed to be red though, she's gonna dye it again but it's still bold and awesome!), Kristian just booked out of army so he has freaking ass short hair, Han just got a haircut too, Wei Siew recently got a haircut, now it's making me feel like i need a new hair look too. Haha, it's all random. So yup, i actually meet Liang Weijie at the gig cause he was playing at it! Interesting, met Vanessa and Yuanli too, talked a little and basically, the gig wasn't my kind of thing, the place is like what Hanwei says, a death trap for moshing, cause it's just a room with four walls, nowhere to hide, the music was all screaming, thank god for Sarah's band. They were pretty good, her vocals were strong despite her sore throat, bassist did screw up a little and the drummer's stick spilt. Hate the crowd seriously, and being the asses that we were, we switched off one of the air conditioners before we left. HAHAHA! It was already damn hot inside actually, but we wanted to make things worse. Whoops. Haha, then we all headed down to starbucks to chill and chat. Random topics, pretty fun as usual, it's great to just sit around and chat. Now i'm back home and lazing around.
Super psyched for Danny to come over in the morning tomorrow & shopping with Xiaowei after that. WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
