I was thinking lately. I want someone to hold my hand.
When I went on the mission trip to the Bahamas I met a little girl there. I was talking with her and her class, and at some point- she reached her hand out to me to hold my hand. I didn't really think twice about it, I just held her hand. We all talked for a while. They shared with me what they learned and sang some beautiful songs. And all the while we held hands. I never once knew her name, I don't know anything about her personal life. I'm not sure that if I saw her face in a crowd I'd be able to point her out. But it was just as much a comfort to me, as it was to her. Sometimes we just need people to hold our hand and be a support to us. Not ask questions, but to just be there.
