Round yon virgin, mother & child
It's the time of year when kids learn and sing about the virgin Mary, which makes me wonder: How do people explain to kids what a "virgin" is? That CAN'T be an easy thing to explain to a child. Do parents & teachers tell them it means "pure"? Maybe that it means they haven't had a child? I think just adding it to their vocabulary at that age will ( Read more... ) -
