A Conservative Rabbi, a Liberal Protestant Minister, and a Charismatic Catholic Priest went fishing one day. The Rabbi and the Minister went off by themselves. The Priest looked up and saw them walking on the water!
"No!"he said. But he decided to try. Splash! Down he went. The others came back to fish him out of the water, then went back to their places...walking on the water.
The Priest said, "Well, if they can do it, I can do it too!" Splash! Down he went in again. The Rabbi and Minster fished him out again and set him on the bank to recover.
The Priest saw the Minister and Rabbi walking on the water AGAIN and said, "They say that it only takes faith." So he mustered up as much faith as he could and... Splash!
The Minister said to the Rabbi, "Should we tell him where the rocks are?"
"No!"he said. But he decided to try. Splash! Down he went. The others came back to fish him out of the water, then went back to their places...walking on the water.
