Don't be discouraged by the low number of responses, because that only happens when almost everyone agrees with you.

Wow. I must say, I'm not used to that. I may just get to like this place.

Of course, but then we (or whoever) will chase the slimy underbelly to yet another place, and another and another. So goes life. It's not always easy and it's not always charming, but that doesn't mean you should stop trying.

All I know is I'm not at all a fan of dead or exploited prostitutes.

Wendy McElroy has a good point. She says that prostitution is the only situation where something legal (sex) is made illegal merely by the exchange of money. I think she makes a good point, and perhaps one day I'll make her my wife.
