Smiles are always good!

I remember my friends talking about shocking their parents with the revelation that they knew about Santa. I always countered by telling them that they'd blown it since Santa wouldn't be leaving them any more gifts. That had never occurred to them because they were so excited about their 'grown-up' knowledge.

Will you be in Italy for Hanukkah? Do you know some people there for a celebration? Or have family visiting? I hope so, because I think Hanukkah, being several day, would be a much more difficult holiday to spend without family than one-day events. Or will you be home by then?

I'm staying through break, so I won't be home. But, my friend (who's studying in Spain)and I are traveling all over Europe during our winter break. We'll be in London for the first night of Hanukkah. She's half-Jewish, and she found out that there's a menorah lighting in Trafalgar Square on the first night. So, that'll be nice.
