ArtRec10!
So quickreaver, amberdreams and I were talking about memes and art and stuff on Twitter, and then quickreaver came up this idea: the ArtRec10 meme! For this version, I've mostly gone through my DeviantArt favorites, because as much as I love art and try to comment on it, I'm very bad at remembering or archiving my favorites for finding them back later. BUT! I plan to do better. I def. want to rec art more often. But for now, I offer you these 10:

A bunch of us artsy sorts got together and decided we needed to shine a little light on our fandom's artists, so we cooked up the ArtRec10 meme! Give us links to ten of your favorite pieces of SPN/RPF fandom artworks. Could be on LJ, tumblr, deviantart, wherever. Let's make today a little more beautiful! Couldn't we use that right now? ;) Topics may overlap-for instance, your h/c fill may be digital-but we'd like to see your ten unique reccs. There's plenty of art out there! Also, be sure to provide a link to the original art, so folks can leave love for the artist. If you choose to post the images, mind the image sizes and be sure to put it all under a cut.

2.) Digital (handpainted/drawn via digital means) - In blood 2, by blakravell. Blakravell makes amazing pieces, and I really love this one of bloody Dean. <3
3.) Mixed Media - Sleeping Dean Winchester by beelikej. So J. made this for me for my birthday this year, and I still love it loads. I have a massive soft spot for sleeping!Dean, and I love the way J. used her amazing papercutting skills to make this. Be sure to check out her other work as well!
4.) Alternative Media (paper cut-outs, stitchery, jewelry, cosplay) - Winchester brothers, by ola-l. This is Sam and Dean in cross stitch, and it's amazing. <3
5.) Photomanip/graphics - BBart for Soul Survivors, by bflyw. Wonderful photomontages created for the story Soul Survivors with lots of details. <3
6.) h/c - Fever by maichan-art. Hurt!Dean is my cryptonite, and I love it even more if Sam gets all worried and takes care of him. This piece has both, and I love it loads. <3
7.) horror - Witch’s Promise, by quickreaver. So I'm not really a horror person, so I had some trouble finding a rec for this one. But I do know ms Q does great horror, so after going through her art I found this gem. NSFW!
8.) shmoop - With you, by KamiDiox. I have a thing for carried!Dean, and this is a very cute one. All of KamiDiox's work is very cute, btw.
9.) nsfw - it goes somewhere, by cuttlefish-adore. Dean/ thigh holster. I mean... *flaps hands* Also, scarred!Dean. Which... <3
10.) WILD CARD! Vangelis, by amberdreams. I know you said you didn't really like this one amb, but I really do. Drawing kisses is hard, but this one is very well done. The colors are gorgeous, and also, Dean!freckles!
