Day 14: What's in my handbag

A lot. Paper and pens/ pencils, tissues, plasters, painkillers, Rennies (tablets against heartburn), a comb, a mirror, an emergency parka against rain, pads, hairties, usually a small bag with makeup, an umbrella (if I have my big bag with me), an extra bag, a nail vile, a tube of handcream, hand sanitizer, my wallet and a power bank. And I'm sure I'm forgetting something. :')

Day 15: Timeline of my day

Alright, this is on a day when I'm working at a daycare, because if I'm not working, there's no schedule to speak off. >__>

7:15/ 7:30 - I get up around this time, depending on how late I need to start. I quickly get ready and am usually out the door half an hour later to bike to the train station.
8:00/ 8:17 - Again, depending on how late I need to start, I get on the train around this time (I do have a car, but I prefer to travel by train/ bus).
8:45/ 9:00/ 9:15 - I arrive at the location I need to work at on one of these three times. I don't know why they can't just pick one and stick with that, but what can you do? 8:45 is the official time the late shift starts (which is the shift I usually do as a substitute), but I guess sometimes they want to save a little money by letting us start late.
9:30 - Most kids are in by now, so we let them clean up the toys they've played with and then we go sit at the table to eat some fruit and have something to drink. This usually takes about 20 minutes, depending on how old the kids are and how fast hey eat/ drink.
10:00 - We clean up the table and do a round of checking diapers (and change them when neccesary) while the kids go play again. This is also the time kids who still sleep twice during the day go to bed. This might also be the time to do an activity like doing arts and crafts or something else. If the weather is nice, we can also go play outside.
11:30 - Time to eat lunch with the kids. The kids who sleep twice usually wake up around this time, so if they eat solid food they can sit at the table and eat some bread as well.
12:30 - Around this time most kids are done eating, and it's time to get the kids who sleep once during the day ready to go to sleep. We do another round of checking diapers, and once all the kids are ready, we bring them to bed. We then clean up the tables and make sure the kids who are awake have something to do.
13:00 - The colleague who has the early shift goes on his/her break. The person who has the late shift stays with the kids who are awake, or if you have sleep shift, sits in the room where the kids sleep to make sure all goes well there.
13:45 - Early shift colleague comes back from break and now it's the turn of the late shift to take their break.
14:30 - Late shift comes back from break.
15:00 - Kids come out of bed and get dressed. We have a third round of checking daipers. Then we sit at the table to eat and drink something.
15:30 - Kids go to play (and kids who sleep twice during the day go to bed again) either inside or outside. We start with clearing up things a little.
17:00 - Colleague who has the early shift goes home. By now kids are slowly getting picked up by their parents.
18:15 - The daycare closes and late shift goes home after making sure the room is neat and ready for the next day. If all kids have been picked up earlier, we can also leave earlier.
18:20 - I get on the bus, where I either stay on untill I'm back at my city, or I make the switch to the train to get back.
19:00/ 19:15 - I get home.
19:30 - Diner time. After I crawl behind my laptop and watch tv.
02:00 - Bedtime. I know I should go earlier, but I usually never manage too. Sometimes it's even later than this. :/

Day 16: Dream job

Being and illustrator, plain and simple.
