hung with the execs this weekend. saw the new room over on 11th pl, and was pleasantly reminded that it's definitely larger than the downstairs of oxford. plans for ginormous bed and wall paint colors ensued.
excited about the coming year on many fronts. apx should be big, and working with (and trying to figure out) ness should be a joy. also the rest of the board is completely tolerable and we have many solid ideas. between life with the matt r's and overstaying my welcome w/ jd + jen, the chill will be profound.
very nearly fell asleep at work, took a coffee break to chill and watch the rain in the lobby near the conference rooms. helped one agent on cad between researching scholarships and reading about bruce lee on wikipedia.
worked out in the building's gym, using the convenient weight training machines. wednesday i have a personal training session scheduled. expect the sexy to follow.
hope to hang with jenn when she comes to town, and later with heath once he moves up for the pre-gradschool prep. once i move down in middle august, i want to spend five days on getting the house pimped out, and going out to make friends with every bartender, bouncer, dj and gogo girl in g-town. must prepare for the year.
wish i could remember the password so i could sign on to this journal at work...
still nervously anticipating who i could possibly work with as a partner gta. what if there aren't enough interested/qualified grad students and i end up with my own class? not that that'll happen cause there are also the 2nd year grads. but still, would i even want my own class? i of course know the answer.
