mermaid? ocean painting?
I'm looking for the name of a painting. I can't find it and it's driving me nuts.
The style reminds me of John William Waterhouse, but I'm not sure if he's the artist or not.
I know that it has a woman and a man. One might be a mermaid, one might me a knight, I'm not sure. One of them is on a rock and one of them is in the water and one or both of them are leaning toward the other.
It sort of reminds me of a combination of these two paintings below (again I'm not sure if Waterhouse did the piece I'm thinking of) except I remember there being a lot more blues and a lot more water. I really hope this painting exists and I'm not making it up.
