I started a new job today, it's a seven month contract doing Flash builds for an animated TV show with Studio B. I don't have a lot of experience doing builds since my last contract with them was doing Flash backgrounds. I'm sure I'll eventually get the hang of it but today was slow going. It probably doesn't help that I haven't even touched Flash for about three months.
I mentioned earlier about how much I liked playing Phantasy Star Online with friends back in the day. Well one of those friends I use to play showed me
Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst for the PC. It's funny, I haven't chatted with him for quite a few months and on Saturday he suddenly comes on MSN and within a couple of hours we were playing PSO again...just like old times. If I had a better video card it would have made the experience a bit smoother. My GeForce FX 5200 doesn't cut it anymore but since I do most of my gaming on my 360 I just can't justify the cost of upgrading.
It's great how an old game can bring people together. I use to play a ton of Street Fighter II with a friend who I've since lost touch with. What I wouldn't give to play him again. Oh well, I guess you can't recapture the past.
