DS Lite = Kick ass birthday gift
My wife was really good to me today and got me a DS Lite and Starfox Command as an early birthday gift (my birthday really isn't until tomorrow). I guess it's a fair trade since I got her a DS Lite for her birthday a few months ago.
Starfox is super addictive. I wasn't sure how it would control with the touch screen but after some time with it I can say it works great. It even seems more responsive than using the dual analog sticks on my Xbox 360. After some minor tweaking to my router settings I was able to jump into some online games, what a blast. I wish the network settings for the DS were kept in flash memory rather than on the game card since I'd like to hand it off for my wife to use without overwriting that information. It would be great if the DS had an actual friends list and gamer tags like Xbox Live rather than these friend codes. Oh well, it's still a great device.
