Someday I'll have good news...
But today is not that day. Since I know some of you don't follow me on other social media...
At the end of July my mom died. It was sudden. A heart attack. And a complete shock to the entire family.
I spent some time in Texas with my family.
I was home in Minneapolis for less than 48 hours when I got the news my cousin, Celina, died. She'd been in hospice care for a while so that was a little more expected but still difficult to deal with.
Two funerals in two weeks was not something I wanted to ever have to do.
Thankfully my boss was able to let me go (I do have a job, I've been in it for almost a year now). I was pretty much gone for most of three weeks.
I do intend to come back to the blog. I really do. Just... maybe not right now.
