Ugh. I keep meaning to post and then don't because I'm not often at my computer and these days when I am, I'm doing job searches which are just so annoying that I can't wait to get away from it again.
I really should fix that.
Well, the big news (for those who don't follow me on facebook/twitter/tumblr) is that I went on an emergency trip to Texas two weeks ago because my grandma had a massive stroke that Friday. She was unconscious and on comfort/palliative care for a few days and died the next Wednesday. The funeral was on Memorial Day. She was three months from her 93rd birthday so while it wasn't entirely unexpected it was still a blow to the entire family.
I'm back home in Minnesota now, trying to look for jobs. I've been unemployed since March and I'm not having any real luck. A couple of interviews and a couple of other nibbles that never turned into bites and that's it. I'm hoping my luck turns around on that area soon.
I'm still doing the aerial arts class I started at the beginning of the year. I participated in my first student showcase doing a rope routine. It was fun! I have video but it needs to be edited. And will probably only be posted to LJ to a friends-only post. :)
That's all I got, really.
