[Private to Hiyori]
As promised, the descriptions; if they aren't clear enough do let me know.
The first; a man with two faces. One, stern but not cruel; the other kind, fatherly. He may be carrying a double-bladed axe, or may have a whirlwind beside him.
The second; a woman, tall and matronly. Her face is serious, and her hair entwined with serpents. She may have agricultural imagery around her; wheat, perhaps.
The third; a young woman, regal-seeming. She should be pictured with many arms; eight, ten, or twelve is traditional. She is associated with water, and as such may have fish or water creatures about her.
The fourth; a young, slender woman. She should be in motion; dancing, her garments airy and caught in the wind. Songbirds and butterflies would flock to her, and she may have a musical instrument of some sort with her.
The fifth; a young man, garbed in black, his features hidden by shadow or a mask. Night creatures with him; bats and owls, black birds.
The sixth; another young man, very still. Robed and hooded; his facial features hard to make out, but very harsh. Not cruel; more... impassive. Accompanied perhaps by a jackal or a carrion bird.
The seventh; a young woman, tall and mysterious; she should seem like a magician. Serious and a little otherworldly. Accompanied by a deer or a small monkey.
The eighth; a shorter woman, rather more plump than the rest. She may also have agricultural imagery, and should be accompanied by a well-fed pig. She should seem welcoming and content.
The ninth; a broad-shouldered woman with hawkish features, in military garb; a crested helmet and a sword. She should be accompanied by a lion, or (failing that) have a lion's face incorporated somewhere on her armor. Her face is strong; not precisely pretty, but attractive in a fierce way.
The images need not be large or complex, as I have said; and I leave most of the specifics to your discretion. Thank you, Hiyori; I look forward to seeing your work.

I gather this is a curse of some sort? Everywhere I go there are sprigs of mistletoe hanging from every convenient perch, and people underneath them are-- ah.
I suppose it's some manner of Christmas tradition? How peculiar...
