I just bought a new wallet and phone. I like this wallet better than that velcro thing that was falling apart on me. It's a black tri-fold genuine leather, which is a common type. $9 - which I found a bit expensive, but oh well. I had to return the phone I bought because it didn't charge or something, but the replacement seems to be working. It's an interesting phone. It looks like an old flip cell phone, and almost feels like one, except it's lighter. It came with a headset and clip, so I can use it like a cell phone - the reason I bought it. Finally, I'm not confined to talking on my bed because I can't go anywhere else with a corded. I'm hoping people will be able to hear me better on it. I sound like a little kid here, maybe that's why no one comments on my entires.
In other news, I don't know if I'll be able to get into the military or not. When I saw the Marine recruiter, he said he'd find out if I can still join with my Mitral Valve Prolapse since it's so mild in my case, if I even still have it. He hasn't gotten back to me yet. In the meantime, I had gotten information about the Navy, which looks promising. I've gotten a lot of negative feedback about it, but that's because I'm just not physically ready for it yet - but I think I will be soon enough. Most adults I talk to think it's a fairly good idea, which is reassuring. The Navy recruiter was also supposed to call me back and set up an appointment, but never did. I'll give him two more days until I call him.
Last quarter and two months left of this dreaded high school life! Hopefully I haven't blown off so much work that I won't be able to graduate now - that would suck. I don't think I did. I'm fairly confident that I'll make it. eh, we'll see.
