China Dreaming
I decided to look for some Xi'an-nese/Shaanxi province recipes, and found out that Xi'an has the largest internet bar in the world. I also saw a picture on Wikipedia of the underpass beneath the Bell Tower, and it made my heart miss Xi'an. Walking outside today made me miss it too. The heat radiating off of the concrete, the horrible horrible heat...we spent so much time walking around listlessly, dripping beads of sweat and baking in the hot sun.
Also: Xi'an's sister city is Kansas City. Why? (No offense, Kansas). It's other sister cities are Kathmandu, Quebec, Cusco, Pompei, and Brasilia. We have some traveling to do!
