Don't rail companies know that announcing conflicting reasons for delays just destroys their credibility?
Having the station announcer state delays are due to signal problems in Whitham area, only to eventually get on a train and have the driver state the delay is due to a failed train and trespassers on the line, just leaves me wondering why the different excuses?
