Wow. talk about a packed weekend.
it all started on Friday when Megan, Bret and I went to margarita rocks down in PB. It was a freaking blast. I almost forgot that I was 21 and can do things like that now, I want to live it up before it gets old. We danced and drank until 2 in the morning, and I got wasted off my ass. We talked to so many different people and I danced with so many different random guys, haha it was great fun. But I would have to say that the coolest thing about the entire night was the fact that I got to hang out with bret. I don’t know him, and all I know about him are all the things megan has told me, which aren’t good. So, it was cool to push away all the pre-conceived notions and start a-new. We actually had a lot of fun together. ( a lot of laughs) Plus he bought me nachos, and cleaned up his dishes, most of our friends just leave it laying where ever they happen to put it down. We got home around three, and stayed up laughing and smearing nacho cheese on sleeping elise until 4 in the morning. Then megan, bret and I passed out the couch together. How all three of us slept on that thing I do not know.
Saturday we were up at eight. Bret spent the night and went home in the morning. We all made last minute plans to go hiking in the Cuyamaca mountains, I didn’t want to go but aaron talked me into it, which I am really glad. It was an amazing day. Me, megan, aaron, devin and matt all went. We hiked 8 miles to Cuyamaca peek and back. I haven’t seen anything that beautiful in a long time. The trees were blasted with snow and it actually formed vertical icicles on the branches, it look like something from a cracked out version of doctor Suse. (Spelling ??) I can’t even begin to describe how amazing it was, and how freaking cold it was. It was a really good bonding experience for us too.
Devin’s friend rick called him and asked him if he wanted to go snow boarding on Sunday and Devin said that he would and asked if it would be okay to invite some of his friends too. Which was really nice of him to think of all of us. So of course I jumped at the chance to get in one last trip before the season closes. Elise, Megan, Aaron, Devin, Eddie, Jack and I were off at 5:30 Sunday morning. We boarded all day. It was beautiful, and even though the conditions weren’t that great it was still nice. Elise did so good and by the end of the day she had her carve down, and was doing jumps with me. We all pretty much stuck together and entire day.
Wow what a weekend, I got like 10 hours of sleep in three days. It was worth it though, I had the best weekend that I have had in a long time. Now back to the bump and grind, spring break is only a week away!
