Blegghh.
Today was a wash. I slept in until almost noon, and then spent basically the rest of the day playing The Sims. I took a break at dinnertime to check the mail and do a quick run to the grocery store, during which I rediscovered the reason why I normally do my grocery shopping in Durham and not Carrboro. To wit, HIPSTERS. HIPSTERS EVERYWHERE.
But I still got in my 20 minutes of exercise. Running in place inside my apartment is getting easier. Maybe one of these days I'll try running for real, outside.

Hot Shots
1/2 oz vodka
1/2 oz peppermint schnapps
2 dashes Tabasco
Combine the ingredients in a shot glass and slam.
This was an interesting combination of flavors. I think I'll use more Tabasco next time, because the peppermint schnapps I used (Rumpelmintz) was quite strongly flavored and mostly drowned out the hot sauce.
