Grossly ambitious plans, part 3.

Jan 07, 2016 20:07

I think I might finally have Somerset ironed out.  From the end of the South West Coast Path at Minehead, I'll take the West Somerset Coast Path to Steart.  Then the River Parrett Trail to Bridgwater, and the Samaritans Way South West to Bristol.  I'll have to do some road-walking to get from Bristol to Chepstow, but that was always going to unavoidable if I don't want to swim across the Severn.

So my route is pretty much planned out.  I might still change my route from Inverness to John o'Groats depending on what happens with various pathways and rights-of-way up there over the next year, but National Cycle Route 1 is a solid plan A for now, I think.

Smith and Kearns

1 oz kahlua
2-3 oz of half-and-half (enough to fill the glass halfway)
Club soda to fill

Pour 1 oz of kahlua over ice in a short glass.  Fill the glass halfway with half-and-half, and roll to blend.  Fill the glass the rest of the way with club soda.

Om nom nom nom.  This is officially my new favorite "dessert" drink.  Pic to follow.  (I took one, I swear.  I just don't feel like fighting with my camera tonight.)

bartending, lejog, cocktail challenge
