January 2: Lemon drop shot

1 oz vodka
Lemon wedge
Sugar

Coat the lemon wedge with sugar.  Use the remaining sugar to rim the shot glass before pouring the vodka in.  Drink the vodka in one go, and chase it by biting the lemon wedge.

I used Absolut Citron for this one, although it's fine to use unflavored vodka.
