April 2013: I can haz job, sort of.
So, I've sorta-kinda been working again, finally. I've done a couple of ad hoc jobs for Deep South, and also got a gig working at the North Hills Beach Music Festival through them. I check IDs and put wristbands on people for four hours every Thursday evening. I also played third oboe on the Durham Symphony's last two concerts.
The highlight of my week is still Game of Thrones on Sunday evenings. Episodes 4 and 5 of the current season are both masterpieces, and episode 3 was one of the funniest of the entire series. But now we're halfway through the new season, and I'm going to need a new TV series or book series to get immersed in soon, in order to fill the void. Suggestions, anyone?
