Tonight I got word from family that there is violence again in Northern Ireland..Bombs going off in schools and Unionists rioting and firebombing the police.. Northern Ireland is a British occupied part of the Island that has been under our administration for 500+ years... It involves me because of my family. My mothers side including herself are from Belfast, My Family is Royalist (but my parents are Tories in the political sense.) When Belfast was going through the Troubles everyone on my mothers side of the family moved to the mainland UK (Mostly around Manchester). But I still have a cousin that lives in Belfast today and she told me to go to the BBC UK website and read up on whats going on today.

Im an interesting creature, I was born in the US but ive choosen to retain my UK citizenship along with my US citizenship. Im in the UK to visit family from time to time, but im frequently in contact with them via AIM, Facebook ect. Thus because of globalization I can listen to the BBC, watch football games and be more connected to the UK today then I ever was in the 1990's..

I hold duel citizenship.  If the IRA pushes this and provokes the British Government to respond again..they will not like the response, trust me...The English are a very unforgiving people... and if the Good Friday Accord fails and violence spins out of control..god help us all...
