So.
Started Swing lessons last night.
Tons of fun.
I've always wanted to learn such things.
Spending today gathering some final bits of my necro/halloween costume.
Yes, it has been pointed out that undead pirates have been, by now, much overdone.
But dammit, I will not be denied my chance to lurch around singing bawdy songs of rum and sin.
Also trying to scrape up some local musician-sorts with whom to build a band type thing.
Seem to have an obsession with the idea of playing Renaissance-esque tunes with a brass twist. (Sounds incredible with Christmas music - most of which dates back to the Renaissance-ish era.)
But so far, haven't found anyone.
