(no subject)
Today was a good day. I worked all morning, then Christopher came over and we purchased a three foot plastic Christmas tree from Target (it was only $10!) because my mom hasn't let me put up the big tree the last few years and I really miss it. I put all of my favorite ornaments on it and it's so great-looking now. We also purchased a small owl made of bark and twigs and whatnot.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I just discovered that the library *FINALLY* got The Amber Spyglass in, so now I can finish the His Dark Materials trilogy (and before The Golden Compass movie comes out! score!)
Umm...not much else to post about. Work has been really nice lately--I've gotten lots of hours and holiday crowds weren't nearly as bad as I expected (not even Black Friday). I discovered Starbucks peppermint lattes cure work-related fatigue, instantly warm my freezing body, and also provide me with great energy. Admittedly it often is converted into sexual energy, but still.
ALSOALSOALSO, am I the only person who didn't know what "superman dat ho" meant in Soulja Boy's song?!?!? I have heard it so many times at work because we played his (irritating, godawful) CD a lot, and now we're playing Now 26. I *just* found out what it means and now I am so intent on trying it out one day. I just don't see how it works.
