A Running List!

Soon I'll be done with The Da Vinci Code and then I'll be left with nothing to read, so I need recommendations from you guys as to what to read next. I do have some criteria:
* not too lengthy
* I'd prefer shortish chapters
* I prefer humor but will read other genres. I especially like funny memoirs.
* nothing that requires too much concentration--I usually read at home (where my mother requires that the TV is constantly on as loud as it can go) or at school (no explanation necessary), where it's pretty difficult to concentrate too terribly hard on what I'm reading. I like things with some depth, but not so much that one has to read each sentence multiple times to understand it.
