Whats new
Wow, I'm sorry that it has been so long since I have posted, I have been busy. I am currently in Chicago to visit my mom and sister. I came out here earlier this month also to do some Christmas shopping. I love seeing my family, but it is a pain to get my butt out here. Friday I had to take three flights and drive 3 hours to get to Iowa where my family had Christmas, the joys of flying standby. But there was a reward waiting for me, my family, most of who I have not seen in quite a while. We had fun for the few hours I was there, now I am back in Chicago since my mom had to work.
Things are going well at home. My best friend is all settled in in our living room, the cats are all starting to get along, and my roommate and her boyfriend seem to be doing well-for them anyway. My smallish friend is probably not going to New York, as disappointed as she is, I am happy that she will be staying and I am going to help her look for an apartment next weekend- this will hopefully be our new safe place to run away to in Denver, I've missed having one of those. My boy and I are doing very well. I have been spending more time with his family and it is great to have a family that I can hang out with, I miss having mine so far away. I also got invited to participate in Yule ritual which was great! His coven is a lot of fun and I was happy to finally see what it was like to actually be in a ritual instead of just reading about it, and they have great energy! They even gave me some Yule gifts, I must say I wasnt expecting that, but now I have some great candles and incense. We got into a pie fight and I kissed a gay guy and a former lesbian for the first time, something else to check off on the "have done" list. Well, I'm off to find some food.
