It seems employers have started asking what your expected salary is on applications instead of in the interview.

Very perplexing and potentially damning if I go too high or too low.

If I can improve my work situation soon enough there are a few ventures Lupercus and I have been planning for 2012.

This spring we plan to get some furries together and suit the St. Louis Zoo. If we turned it into a weekend affair we might be able to organize a tour of the Anheuser-Busch Brewery, the St. Louis Arch, or some other attractions.

Thanks to Wuffy's mom I found out that Wendy's was having open interviews the other day. I went, and did everything in my power to impress.

They will be calling me tomorrow afternoon to schedule a follow-up interview.

A steady source of income is what I need right now, so even though I won't love the job I'll gladly take it and work as many hours ( Read more... )

Sorry to leave you all hanging for so long. I was about to post the results of my interview when my mom showed up and dragged me around town for several hours.

My father's friend's son (who fixed my bike for me back in the day), works for a state funded employment agency half a mile from our apartment.

All I need now is to visit the website, sign up, and pay him a visit. (hopefully)
