If the kids were Caucasian, and said that, their parents would be up in a courtroom trying to defend their hate crime.

"sighs" gotta love double standard parenting these days. Its OK for one group, but oh HELL no for another.

Really weird kids, guess they're trying to guilt trip people into giving them free pizza? Don't see how they'd expect that to work O_o

Because they're seven and their parents never bothered to parent them?

Little mother effers. They start playing the race card at a younger age as time goes by.

If it were me I'd have replied... "Yo dog, this is a specialty order that costs $50. If you bitches got a Grant, then fork over the green." ... I'm statistically estimating that they didn't have $5 between them, let alone something like that. ;-)

Most people figure delivery drivers are lazy apathetic stoners, and many are, but I take pride in doing my shitty job right.

Professionalism is a virtue.

Also when an adult argues with a seven year old nobody really wins.

Also also this was a primarily "low income ethnic" neighborhood where being white gets you jeers, gang signs, and possibly robbed.

A delivery driver for another company was robbed at gunpoint just a couple months ago. For $20, a cheap cell phone, and a credit card he deactivated as soon as he could call the bank. (Incidentally, don't piss off your delivery driver. Our grapevine extends beyond just our store. Your next order may run late.)

There's a reason I keep a heavy old crowbar under my seat and a folding knife in my cargo pocket.

Unfortunately company policy forbids me from carrying.

I concur with you re: the drivers and kids. Of note, I strongly support those who bust ass and get little recognition for their work. After all, I did warehouse work for one summer and spent several years in an academic position where some days I was left cleaning up spat-out sunflower seeds from testing cubicals.

The gang stuff doesn't phase me. I went to a notoriously rough high school and have plenty of stories. I learned that gangs are better than skinheads. That noted, I'm not exactly too afraid of anyone, especially not hood rats. Been there, did that. ;-)

I can remember seeing kids like this going into a toy store, grabbing something off of the shelf, and then walk up to the cashier and demand to have a refund on it during the 90s.

I can too.

*headdesks*

And it's perfectly acceptable now. Thanks Obama.
